PHA Revalidation – Avoiding the Pitfalls

Revalidation of Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs) are required at least every five years for affected facilities under OSHA’s Process Safety Management (PSM) standard and EPA’s Chemical Accident Prevention Provisions regulations. Despite over 20 years of regulation, inadequate PHA revalidations remain a common citation in agency inspections. In this session, we will discuss conducting defensible PHA revalidations and avoiding common pitfalls.
