ABOUT CHRISTINA
Christina Penrose is the Senior Environmental Manager at Lubrizol’s Deer Park and Bayport facilities where she leads environmental compliance initiatives focused on emissions reduction, leak prevention and regulatory engagement. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Delaware and brings over 30 years of experience in chemical and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Throughout her career, Christina has advanced through technical and leadership roles in operations, process engineering, and Health, Safety, Environment, and Security (HSES) at manufacturing sites in NJ, PA, and TX. She currently serves on Texas Chemistry Council (TCC) Outreach and Environmental committees, chairs the Environmental Committee of the East Harris County Manufacturers Association (EHCMA), and serves as President for Houston Regional Monitoring (HRM) advocating for strong industry and community partnerships.
Christina is also dedicated to civic service, actively participating on Church Women United’s National Board and contributing to organizations like the United Way of Galveston County Mainland. She is widely recognized for her leadership, technical expertise, and unwavering commitment to environmental stewardship and community engagement.
