As vice president, Manufacturing, Todd Monette is responsible for the safe and reliable operations of the Borger, Conroe, Pasadena, Port Arthur and Orange Plants. He also leads the corporate capital projects organization, Mechanical Integrity, Conduct of Operations & Operating Discipline, Process Safety, and Manufacturing Accounting & Information.

He has 31 years of experience in the refining and petrochemical industry, including leadership positions with Shell, Motiva and Lyondellbasell. Monette has driven culture change and personnel development while providing senior leadership in all facets of manufacturing, with a passion for improvement in capital projects, turnarounds, and leadership development.

 Monette has held leadership positions with industry and advocacy organizations and formerly served as the workforce development chairman for the Golden Triangle’s Southeast Texas Plant Manager Forum, past board chairman for East Harris County Manufacturing Association (EHCMA), and current board member for Texas Chemistry Council (TCC). Monette has long been actively involved in the community, with roles on the board of directors of the Houston East End Chamber of Commerce, Galena Park Education Foundation, executive sponsor for the Minority and Women’s Business Council in Port Arthur, Texas. He is also a member of the Manufacturing Committee for American Fuels & Petrochemical Manufacturer’s Association (AFPM).
