ABOUT TOMMY
Tommy Nipp is a seasoned leader in workforce development and instructional design, currently serving as the Sr. Director of Learning at the Houston Area Safety Council (HASC). Since joining HASC in 2015 as Director of Training, he has spearheaded innovative training solutions that integrate hands-on learning, virtual reality, and task-specific evaluations with a strong emphasis on safety hazard recognition and proper techniques.

Prior to HASC, Mr. Nipp spent a decade with Bayer Corporation (2006-2015), where he played a key role in shaping training and development initiatives. His expertise extends beyond safety training, as he is also a driving force behind leadership development programs aimed at cultivating influential leaders. His courses—Foundational Leadership, Turnaround Leadership, Conquering Public Speaking, and Emotional Intelligence—are designed to empower professionals at every stage of their leadership journey.

Mr. Nipp has partnered with leading organizations such as Phillips 66, PBF Energy, Nippon, Kuraray, and Indorama to develop and deliver customized leadership training solutions. His extensive credentials include certifications from BCSP, Associated Builders and Contractors, the American Management Association, the Scaffold Training Institute, the National Center for Construction Education and Research, The Training Magazine, and the Wisconsin Safety Council.

With a passion for impactful learning experiences, Mr. Nipp continues to drive excellence in training, helping organizations develop safer, stronger, and more effective leaders.
