ABOUT DANNY

Danny Forest is the Director of Data Analytics for Responsible Care® at the American Chemistry Council (ACC), where he leads industry-wide performance improvement through the strategic oversight of Responsible Care’s programmatic initiatives.

Danny works at the intersection of data analytics, process safety, and sustainability — empowering over 250 chemical manufacturers and Responsible Care Partners to drive continuous improvement across environmental, health, safety, and security (EHS&S) performance. He applies a systems-focused approach to identify trends, benchmark progress, and inform smarter decision-making within the global chemical industry.

With nearly a decade of experience as an EHS&S advocate for national trade associations in Washington, D.C., Danny is recognized for his leadership in process safety, occupational safety, and workforce development. Prior to joining ACC, he advanced safety and risk management strategies as the safety department head for a downstream natural gas and oil national trade association, helping to shape industry practices and strengthen frameworks.

He holds a Master of Science from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and is known for his ability to turn complex data into actionable insights that enhance performance, build trust, and elevate industry stewardship.
