Speaker: Brandon Schroeder, President, Believe in Safety
Brandon Schroeder has been an electrician for nearly 20 years. On August 24, 2011, he survived an arc flash explosion that without a doubt should have killed him. In this session, attendees will listen to Brandon as he recounts that tragic day that nearly took his life as he discusses the contributing factors that lead up to this horrific incident, how it all could have been avoided, and what fellow electricians need to do to protect themselves from this real world danger. Brandon will discuss his pre-accident safety mindset, how the accident occurred, and most importantly the fallout on those around him.
