Panel Discussion: Communication Among Facilities and First Responders, Including Lessons Learned from Hurricane Harvey

A panel composed of Eric Stricklin, Greater Houston Area Manager with Acadian Ambulance, Lori Upton, Director of Preparedness with SETRAC, Rodney Reed, Deputy Chief of Planning with the Harris County Fire Marshal's office, and Mark Turvey, Assistant Fire Chief with Lubrizol will discuss the response to Hurricane Harvey and communication among various disaster scenarios including explosions, chemical releases, as well as active shooter situations. Some topics covered will include what worked, what didn't work, what surprised them, and how they are preparing differently. In addition, time will be set aside to give the audience an opportunity to ask questions of the panel.
