ABOUT DR. HYSLER 
Dr. Hysler is the Chief Medical Officer at the Health and Safety Council where he oversees the occupational health services across its multiple health center locations.  Dr. Hysler completed his undergraduate degree at Louisiana State University, a Master’s Degree in Public Health from the University of Texas, and his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Ross University.  Dr. Hysler completed his medical residency in occupational medicine at The University of Texas School of Public Health, is board certified in occupational medicine, and is a Fellow of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine.

Dr. Hysler also serves on the National Safety Council’s Impairment Advisory Board and holds an appointment with the University of Texas Occupational Medicine Residency Advisory Committee.  In addition to serving as a certified medical review officer for HASC, Dr. Hysler also serves as a medical director for multiple companies throughout the nation.

A native Texan, Dr. Hysler lives in Friendswood Texas with his wife and daughter.
