Since the December 2016 revision to the U.S. EPA’s Modeling Guideline, updates in modeling requirements have resulted in revisions to the AERMOD air dispersion model and how the modeling analysis is to be conducted. Additionally, states have recently updated their modeling guidance and submission processes, resulting in increased burden on the applicant in some cases. This presentation covers updates in the modeling process in The Gulf that may be of interest to the regulated community with respect to how they may be impacted.
