Standardized Hydroblasting Training and Certification

The WaterJet Technology Association (WJTA) in partnership with the Health and Safety Council (HASC) launched a hydroblaster training and certification program consisting of a computer-based training (CBT) module and hands-on instruction. This session will discuss the benefits of a hybrid virtual/hands-on model in being able to scale, easily propagate curriculum updates and maintain standardized terms. This session will also look at the several hazards, incident case studies and best practices that motivate the need for standardized training in this industry.
