The first element of OSHA PSM Standard is Employee Participation. It is arguably one of the simplest elements indicating that employees will be able to access Process Safety Information (PSI) and provide information to build the PSI. On the other hand, experience shows that without a full buy-in from all employees, having a reliable and sustainable PSM system is very difficult. In this talk, we will share various case studies and provide potential means of closing this gap.
