Best Practices in Evaluating Environmental Compliance and Permitting Obligations for Changes at a Chemical Facility

Inaas Darrat, Trinity Consultants

Floral A1

Managing environmental compliance at chemical facilities is full of challenges. We have seen several chemical regulations be revised recently. Additionally, chemical facilities frequently evaluate changes to their process to accommodate ever changing technologies and customer demand. Facility changes can trigger many questions including, will emissions be impacted, effect on notifications, potential triggering of NSPS or MACT standards, does retesting need to be completed, etc. This presentation will discuss recent chemical rule changes and what subject facilities should be doing to manage compliance with the revised rule(s). Additionally it will feature best practices for managing facility and process changes from a permitting and regulatory perspective
