Effective Communication: What? How? Why?

In order to create a safe work environment, we need to be effective communicators. Many times, we assume that pertinent information is being communicated and the message is lost because the method of communication was ineffective. Focusing on shared goals and exploring our communication options will give us the tools to create a safer and more productive work and home environment. Learning Outcomes: 1.) Understand Communication Basics 2.) Learn different styles and types of communication 3.) Comprehend the impact of goal-oriented and audience-oriented communication.
