Have you ever felt frustrated siting on a PHA for hours, days feeling it is going nowhere and endless discussions?  Over the years, BASF has compiled a set of ‘Best Practices’.  From preparation, team set up, specific team member duties,  critical portions of information and  best use of all resources available  This, all in order to identify hazards and perform appropriate Risk Ranking and Countermeasures, as well as meaningful and SMART Recommendations. This presentation will share those techniques and practices to prepare, perform, and follow up on all information for efficient and effective Process Hazard Analysis. The presentation will  focus on HazOp methodology.
