In February 2018, the American Chemistry Council’s (ACC) Board of Directors approved an implementation plan for sustainability which included work in three strategic areas to achieve the commitments set forth in its Sustainability Principles. Included in this plan was an initiative to identify sustainability metrics in use in the industry. The outcome of this research supported related strategic initiatives such as development of a circular economy strategy, reducing the industry’s environmental footprint, and financial sector engagement. Join this session to learn about how this initiative is progressing and what are the future plans and potential impacts.
