Texas Chemical Council 2017 Process Safety Performance Metrics

Floral A1

Speaker: Mason Jones, Process Safety Engineer, Chevron Phillips Chemical Company

In 2017, Texas Chemical Council established a Process Safety Committee charged with encouraging continuous improvement in process safety performance within the Texas chemical industry by monitoring and sharing process safety performance metrics among member companies and also to assess process safety performance trends in our industry, and communicate the Texas chemical industry’s process safety record. The Process Safety Committee developed a set of process safety performance metrics consistent with API RP-754, 2nd edition and completed the first annual collection of process safety data from member companies for the 2017 calendar year. This session will present the results of that data collection and provide detailed comparative process safety data for TCC member facilities. Come see how your facility performed against the participating member facilities and understand areas where your facility can improve process safety performance.
